3/8" Bowl Gouge (Long Handle) There is difficulty in achieving this profile. Robert Sorby offers a selection of gouges with a factory ground fingernail profile, which is not only safe in use, but also allows the turner to modify the profile to his specific requirements.

It is recommended that 9" crossbars are only used with any stem 3/4" (19mm) or bigger due to the forces created when turning wood.
