These jaws are aluminum plates machined from a solid (for greater strength). Their unique combination of slots and tapped holes for mounting the rubber grippers allows holding an infinite number of round, oval or square shapes. The buttons are hard rubber pressed over a tapered steel sleeve for superior holding. Generally used for light finishing on the backs of bowls and external chucking on platters and picture frames.
Note: Wooden false jaws may be mounted and turned for those requiring the utmost in precision finishing or for extremely large or critical applications.
