The CT053 has been paired up with the CT053CH 1 Micron Canister Filter for improved performance and efficiency. This Dust Collector is a deal for the small shop with a 1HP motor and 570CFM of air flow.

This canister featured in this combo has a V-Weave filter design and the pleated filter material area is increased over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags.

Compared to standard filter bags Keeping the filter clean is a breeze. Since you are no longer required to remove the filter bag, turn it upside down and shake out the dust sending thousands of fine dust particles airborne. You simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper and clean any dust that is lodged in the pleats. Caked-on dust simply falls into the lower collector bag. Dust disposal is now easier, healthier, and efficient with less work and maintenance with the 1-micron canister. 

570 CFM (Cubic feet per minute) is the amount of air the dust collector moves through itself per minute. Because there is less air resistance with the use of a canister filter, the overall efficiency increases compared to standard bagged dust collectors.
