At Busy Bee Tools, our return policy is designed to give you confidence and peace of mind, reflecting our commitment to providing top-quality products and exceptional customer service.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase (invoice date), subject to the following conditions:

• Returns on active items only (not inactive, discontinued, clearance, or final sale)
• Returns on regular stock items, not special orders
• Resalable condition: original packaging, unassembled, and unused
• Item must be complete (including accessories and manuals)
• Proof of purchase required

A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply to requests that do not meet these conditions.

Branded products and other manufacturers’ policies may supersede our policy/warranty. For some branded products, you may be advised to deal directly with the manufacturer based on their policy.

Return Shipment Authorization

Prepaid shipping labels for on-line or shipped orders are provided only in cases of confirmed defective merchandise or confirmed shipping errors. In all other cases, return shipping costs and choice of carrier are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return reaches us safely.

Before shipping any item to us, please contact our Customer Service Team within 30 days of purchase to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This helps us process your return quickly and efficiently. Return shipments without an RMA number may be refused.

Returning Items In-Store

Visit your local Busy Bee Tools branch within 30 days of your purchase, and our team will help you process an eligible return. 

Items Ineligible for Return

The following items are ineligible for return:

• Machinery that does not meet the conditions of the 30-day return policy. Please submit a warranty claim if you are experiencing an issue with a Craftex machine. Craftex machines are ineligible for return unless confirmed defective and beyond repair following the warranty process. See Warranty Policy below.
• For warranty claims related to Saw Stop, Laguna, Rikon, Shaper Origin, Next Wave CNC, Axiom, Fuji, Vectric, Felisatti, and other brand tools, manufacturer warranty applies. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. These machines are ineligible for returns.
• Consumable items such as sandpaper, cutting tools, adhesives, etc. cannot be accepted for return once opened or used.
• Software
• Personal safety items
• Special order items and customized products
• Clearance, final sale, discontinued, and inactive items

Shipping Damage: Please contact our Customer Service Team with proof of purchase and relevant photos. Submitting a ticket is the fastest way to receive a response. 

Missing Items or Wrong Items: Please contact our Customer Service Team with proof of purchase and relevant photos. Submitting a ticket is the fastest way to receive a response. 

Malfunctioning Items: Please contact our Customer Service Team with proof of purchase, relevant photos/videos, and details of the issue. We will work with you to troubleshoot and arrange a resolution. For some branded products, you may be directed to deal directly with the manufacturer who provides the warranty. Manufacturers’ policies may supersede our warranty and policy. Submitting a ticket is the fastest way to receive a response. 

Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our tools. All Craftex and Busy Bee Branded Products are covered by a one, two, or three-year warranty. See the Craftex Warranty details below. If you experience any issues with your Craftex machinery or Busy Bee Brand item, please contact our Customer Service Team for assistance with troubleshooting and resolution under warranty terms. Please contact us here.

For warranty claims related to Saw Stop, Laguna, Rikon, Shaper Origin, Next Wave CNC, Axiom, Fuji, Vectric, Felisatti, and other brand tools, manufacturer warranty applies (this list is subject to change). These brands include software, and other types of tools in addition to workshop machinery. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. These items are ineligible for return unless Busy Bee Tools is directly authorized in writing by the manufacturer.

Warranty on Parts

Replacement parts provided under warranty will carry a standalone 30-day warranty period from the date of replacement/installation. The original machine warranty does not apply to replacement parts. This policy is applicable to all replacement parts, including but not limited to, motors and other critical components.

Craftex Warranty

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase, minus any applicable restocking fees. The timeframe to receive a refund will vary as this process involves multiple key stakeholders including suppliers, shipping carriers, various internal teams, and financial institutions.

For warranty claims related to Saw Stop, Laguna, Rikon, Shaper Origin, Next Wave CNC, Axiom, and other brand machines, manufacturer warranty applies. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. These items are ineligible for return for refund unless Busy Bee Tools is directly authorized in writing by the manufacturer.
