Good Dust Collector For the Small Shop
Good machine for the small garage shop like mine. As noted by another reviewer, I also cut out the X crossbar as I found it clogging with larger particles Lots of power for an individual machine hookup use. The wheels work well for easy movement.

Manufacturing defect
I wanted to upgrade from a 4.5HP shopvac that I was using with my CNC machine. I was really temped by the price tag on these and gave it ago. It drew maybe 50% more air than my shopvac which was an improvement, but nothing mind blowing. It was also quieter or at least less annoying because it didn't generate the high-pitch noise that the shopvac does. However, it had a huge flaw. Aside from leaking air from around the bags, it was leaking air from the welds. Basically, they had done a really bad welding job at the factory, so it was leaking air (and dust) from various point of the sheet metal drum. At first, I thought I could live with it by putting some masking tape where ever there was a leak, but then I thought it is not worth the risk to my health which was why I bought the DC in the first place. I returned it after two weeks. The folks at BB weren't happy about me returning it, but they couldn't argue with me because it was obviously a manufacturing defect.

its great
I have been using this for 2 years now, and it is a major upgrade from a shopvac. I did have to cut out the "cross" shield on the intake, because the strands that came from my planer would jam up in it. It also warms up a lot after running for a couple hours straight, but i assume its not meant to run continiously.

Can't beat it for the price
This is a major upgrade from a shop vac. I use it on my table saw, radial arm saw, sander, router and Kreg jig . Would buy it again.

Great for my shop
I wasnt looking for anythig too big since its just me in my shop and this dust collector has done just what I need. I have it hooked up seperately to several machines but the one im surprised most about is the job it does on my dewalt planer. REally didnt think it would be able to handle the amount of dust and chips but so far its been rock solid.

It works great! I connected to a sand blaster, and had no any problems for the last two years.

Cheap sucker!
this is a great little dust collector coming from a shop vac. have used it with my table saw and planer constantly and its done what ive asked. i upgraded the lower clear bag to the easy-on bags and it s huge difference when going to empty it. im debating adding a canister but so far im ok with how it performs. for the price and warranty, you cant go wrong!
