The 10" length is perfect for long or short knives and other tools and is also provides cutting edge performance for a quick, keen edge on small contact areas and pointed tools. Equipped with fine diamond (25 micron / 600 mesh) to hone a razor-sharp edge, the Bench stone also includes non-skid rubber feet to keep it in place while sharpening. The diamond grit is also clearly marked on side of the stone. Thanks to its micronized monocrystalline diamond surface as well, you can sharpen edges faster and easier than conventional stones can. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water.
